LAKEWOOD INTERIOR RENOVATION
As with many homeowners who approach us to update their space, the owners of this 1970s home wanted to bring in more natural light, open up their floor plan for better entertaining, and create a space more connected to the outdoor patio. The existing space needed a style update, but with nearly 3,000 SF, was large enough to accommodate the resident’s needs. Reviewing their existing home, we chose to remove existing interior partitions, combine two living spaces into one, adding space to the previously small kitchen. The result is a sleek modern aesthetic featuring a large folding counter window that allows the hosts to serve guests outside at the patio bar, and inside at the large island simultaneously. The slab-face cabinet style, large-format backsplash tile, and subtle hues throughout lend to a serene yet modern aesthetic the homeowners were looking for.
