our story

Brooklyn and Erin met while working in the commercial world together and became instant best friends, bonding over shared opinions about design and the practice of architecture and a love of food and drink.  Cult Creative was born out of a desire to craft a modern design language uniquely Coloradan.  We love the challenge of engaging context and distilling it down to its cleanest expression to create design solutions that are both beautiful and cohesive with the unique aspects and histories of place.  We believe whole-heartedly that design matters, that it impacts not just the functional aspects of our daily tasks but our attitude toward those tasks as well.

Brooklyn is a Registered Architect whose background in Project Management and Organization brings structure and efficiency to the Cult Creative team.  She earned her Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.  During her time in L.A., Brooklyn fell in love with the mid-century modern architecture of Neutra, Schindler, and Wright and their simple expression of systems that organize our lives and spaces.  Brooklyn has been living and working in Denver, Colorado since 2008 and loves the sunshine, fresh air, and Denver’s incredible collection of parks. She also is a bit of a foodie and always ready to try a new restaurant or share one of her favorites.

Also a Registered Architect, Erin earned her Bachelor of Interior Design at the University of Arkansas, influenced by the work of E. Faye Jones and Frank Lloyd Wright, before moving to Denver and earning her Master of Architecture at the University of Colorado Denver.  Erin is always designing something in her head and brings a strong voice and creativity to the team with an emphasis on preserving the historic feel and character of our beloved City and neighborhood identities.  Hailing from various parts of the south, but primarily Memphis, Denver has been Erin's home since 2007, and she loves the arts and food culture, weather and activities that being an urban Coloradan provides.  She has been married to Adam since 2008, and they have two incredibly silly kids, Everett and Maya.
